Aire

Due to the steady rise of air pollution, it is assumed that in the future air filtering masks will be worn daily. To that effect, I designed a mask that will provide an alternative to the masks currently used. “Aire” is a system consisting of toxic gas and particle filtering and carrier case. The case is equipped with an air monitoring system that alerts the user once air pollutants are detected. The case connects to a phone app which sends real time air quality and location data to create an updated online map of air pollution.
The case also has An internal UV light disinfects the mask after every use.
